Did you know that you can get filler in your earlobes to perk up stretched lobes from wearing those hoops for too many years? The things filler can do for you may surprise you! Fillers do exactly what it sounds like - it fills up areas with volume and hydration. Commonly used fillers are made up of hyaluronic acid that are designed to closely resemble our body’s natural collagen. Strategic placement of filler can enhance natural features, or fill areas that over time has lost volume to restore a youthful look. Fillers vary in consistency from thin soft gels to a thicker harder gel, and last varying lengths of time from 6 to 18 months or more depending on the type of filler used. Because of the variability in filler types a consultation is highly recommended. Anesthesia services are offered depending on the area to be filled and will be discussed at the appointment or consultation. Park Belle Aesthetica offers the Juvéderm line of fillers.
Commonly filled areas:
Cheeks
Lips
Jawline
Downturned mouth

Filler effects are immediate. However keep in mind that you will have swelling to account for immediately following the procedure, which will decrease over the next week. The effects will remain anywhere from 6 -18 months depending on the type of filler used. I highly recommend coming in for a consult because the filler selection can vary depending on where and how it is used.

I highly recommend a consult so we can discuss detailed before and aftercare information. But generally speaking discontinue 7-10 days before any aspirin, Motrin, ibuprofen in addition to vitamin E, fish oil, garlic, Ginkgo Biloba, niacin, flax seed oil, and Omega 3 supplements to decrease bruising. Aftercare is mostly avoiding exacerbating any bruising or displacement of filler. Detailed instructions will be given to you at your appointment.
